These extraordinary pieces are intricate yet full of functionality that will add a multitude of originality to your home! The technique for the line work is an Italian bases process involving pre-stretching lines of colored glass 50 feet long that becomes the diameter of a pencil. Once cooled, the glass lines will then be cut into pencil sized lengths and melted together to then be rolled onto the surface of a molten bubble of glass. Once applied to the surface, the lines are manipulate to be a network of repetitive shapes, giving the pieces a pattern that can be describes as animal print or mesh like.
